Happy New Year!

Hello Kids!

Here I am, crawling from under my rock, to say HI!, and to wish you all a fantabulous New Year!

What shall we talk about? Let's leave it to chance, and see what comes to mind shall we?

I feel a bit of randomness creeping on... Let's start with somethings I've seen and liked recently:

Flowers

Xmas

Ikea

Ikea kitchen

And no, my own kitchen looks NOTHING like this! ;) Although I'm working on a new 50s style look cos it's the ONLY way I've come up to make the hideous pink and green combo (in which it had been decorated when we first moved here, and which I've systematically managed to ignore till now) work... AND I got told off by one of the Ikea pea-sized brain staff for taking pictures in the shop... as if I coudln't have found photographs on their Web site if I'd really had wanted "to steal" their ideas (like I'm doing below!!!)!! Doh...

Other things which have caught my eye:

On the Flickr bandwagon

What's happened round here lately? Well, I went and got myself a pro account on Flickr, which I'm slowly populating. I've got SO MANY knitting-UNrelated photographs which I've been wanting to post somewhere for a while, so have a look, but I expect more collections/sets will be added soon.

eBaying

We've been clearing out the flat a little, and finally got round to listing a few items on eBay, got plenty of yarn I will want to add too, but for the time being, we've got a bed (this was an impulse buy and ALWAYS too ginormous for our tiny flat!), and two pretty pretty iMacs... I soooo didn't want to get rid of them, but space is so precious around here, but if I only could, do you know what I'd do? I'd buy them off eBay in all the colours ever made and display them, pretty much like he's done. But hey, this is London, and they make you pay to even have room to breathe in, so, no can do. But, pls feel free to take a look at my auctions and help me finance my kitchen improvements :)
