I hate Kisilk Haze! Have found lots of alternatives I prefer: GGH Soft Kid and Laines du Nord Kiddy Print, I mix them up with other yarns, then knit on huge needles and get a nice soft fuzzy effect. Currently doing that for Magknits pattern. I find Kidsilk Haze a 'weak' yarn. Lots of effort for minimum effect.

Hi Annarella,
I found your blog through SKC. I love this sweater! You've inspired me to use some orange, fushia, and yellow yarn I didn't know what to do with!

I don't like KSH either. Glad I'm not the only one.

Hmm... I've knitted KSH on DPN's.. like I knit everything on DPN's! It certainly does slow you down, for sure. This Lady is looking lovely - can't wait to see her finished xx

I love those colours, the sleeves are fabulous. I like KSH in the winter - too fuzzy for summer knitting, oh and if you are an eater of hummus or similar then KSH definitely DOES NOT mix with it (bitter previous experience, but then sometimes my mouth seems to move about my face or something)

I LOVE KSH - it's definitely crack silk haze to me. LOL
The sleeve looks tons better with your revision and the addition of the second colour is great! Those colours together are just so HOT! Lovely combination!

The hot pink and zingy orange look fabulous together. Never knitted with KSH but am certainly taking note of your comments on escaping stitches!
Did you see the write-up of your site in the latest Simply Knitting? :-)

Oh how delicious those colours are together - definately one of my fav combos!
I have one thing to say to you...
MAGIC LOOP METHOD!!!
I can't stand dpns, so ALWAYS work in the round on a long circular - here's a good demo:

I swore I'd never knit with KSH ever again after finishing Birch with it... however 6 months later I was knitting it again...! It just looks soooo pretty when it's knitted up - and yes, the colour range is great too.... Did you use bamboo dpns? everything slips off if I use the metal ones... :)

Ooh it's looking ace! I love the 2 colours, they look smashing together. KSH is a bit of a mare to knit with, but it's still one of my favourites, the colours are the best!

I think you are far more brave then I would ever be to knit a complete sweater in KSH I wouldnt even attempt a tiny peice with it... Ive seen it in the shops and it scares me with its "fine-ess" as you put it. :) I think the second bit of colour on the sleeve looks lovely, I spotted it right away and as you says adds a bit of intrest but still looks beautiful! :)
