Oh yes, love that hat. I gotta make me another one. Seen a similar one in a Rowan kit that I 'must have'. Then I can choose between my peruvian one or the new one....

Honey, you gave me an excellent idea, cause I have recently bought lemon green yarn and was searching for hat pattern! But now I know!

Anna - you did me proud!
That's exactly what I wanted people to do... take the pattern and knit it up making whatever changes they desire :o)
I LOVE what you did - the colour you choose is so much more me than the original, (but I couldn't have everything in the book be red, pink and orange, or could I? ;o) )
There is a mistake in that pattern that I will post soon and will be corrected in the next printing - but it didn't stop you - I'm beaming!! Thank you!!

Love the hat, the pompom is tres chic :-) That yarn definitely benefits from a bath, and fabric conditioner or the other sort of conditioner.
BTW you asked about elann - the yarn is absolutely gorgeous stuff, it's their own line. I'd certainly buy from them again. I didn't get any customs charges applied, the yarn value was around 20 UKP though so just on the borderline of merchandise allowance anyway. I think it's hit and miss, whatever you order! It arrived within 5 days of ordering too :-)

It's very cute and the colours are fab! I like the big pom pom. I've not tried it but you could try adding a little conditioner to the wash, should help make it less scratchy.
