I used DPNs on something last year that had tons of colour changes and it was so easy to carry everything up the sides and so avoid all those nasty ends. Which I usually do as I go as I can't bear the thought of leaving it all to the end.

Electra's coming along great! Well done with the fair isle. I know what you mean by dreading weaving all the ends in. I've had an intarsia jumper on my list of WIPs for quite a while but I'm determined it won't become a UFO!
