Ivy Sweater

I am IN LOVE with the Ivy Sweater by PetiteKnit, and in particular with the saddle shoulder construction, which is sooo elegant! My choice of yarn isn’t the best to showcase this construction, as I am holding 2 extremely fuzzy yarns, making the stitches barely visible. But the colour is oh-so me, and the combination of fluffy alpaca and silk mohair feels like wearing a cloud, so can’t complain too much. Anyway, I am already planning to make a second Ivy, which will have a more fitted silhouette and a better stitch definition.

I am almost done with this first one – such a quick knit! The only thing I’m not sold on is the rolled body hem. I have looked at ALL the projects on Ravelry, but have not come up with a solution I am satisfied with. I suspect I will end up adding a ribbed hem, which, to be honest, is not particularly exciting. I don’t want a folded hem either. Any suggestions, pretty please? Thanks! xx
